How Covid has affected Childbirth Classes

Let's face it, Covid has changed the world. Many businesses have been affected. I had planned my grand opening for my location in Brandon Florida on April 25th just as the world shut down. I knew I would be facing many challenges starting a location for childbirth classes; however, it had been a dream of mine for so long. I never anticipated a pandemic and unfortunately, I had to let my location for classes go. The good news is I can do private classes!!
Some local hospitals stopped having classes altogether. Others went to virtual. I do a combination of virtual and private classes. I have been waiting for the time when group classes are normal again. I can hardly wait!!
I believe it is even more important to have classes to prepare for a new baby now because Covid has changed family dynamics, support people roles, and visitors, because of the risk of transmitting a virus that we are learning more about every day. Virtual classes are great; however, it is better when you are with the couple, showing them is much easier in person.
If you want to schedule a class, the good news is that virtual and private classes are more flexible than location classes. I still recommend classes start around 30-32 weeks. Give me a call and we can schedule your classes today.
Be Safe and Congratulations on your pregnancy!!
