Basic Newborn Care

This is a 2 1/2 hour class to teach new parents about their newborn. Diapers, bathing, safe sleep are just a few of the subjects you learn in this class. You will have a life size doll to practice with during the class.

Learn about the American Academy of Pediatrics safe practice guidelines for safe proofing your home and The American Heart Association's Friends & Family choking and infant CPR basics. This is not a certification course. Hands on practice with CPR manikins.

Learning Breastfeeding

Wed 7:00-9:00pm / Thurs 2:00-4:00pm

I will teach you and your support person, tips for better breastfeeding from the start. How to avoid some of the pitfalls that hinder breastfeeding and your options for going back to work. This is a two hour class.

Infant Massage Techniques

Sundays 2:00-4:00pm

Infant Massage uses touch as a way to bond with your baby. Infant Massage teaches you how to communicate with your baby, and you will learn massage techniques that aid in sleeping and colicky babies and more. It is great for Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Foster, Adoptive and Surrogate and even Siblings can learn Infant Massage. Infant should be 2 months to start this class.
